Sangria
The perfect summer drink, enjoy this fruit packed Spanish-style red wine punch on your next picnic.

Sangria
Ingredients
By the Glass
- 1 oz red wine
- 1 oz brandy
- 1/2 oz orange juice or pineapple juice
- 1/4 oz lime juice
- 1/4 oz lemon juice
- 1 tsp grenadine
- 1 oz club soda
By the Pitcher
- 2 bottles dry red wine
- 1 cup brandy
- 1 cup orange juice or pineapple juice
- 2-4 Tbsp grenadine to taste
- 2 oranges sliced
- 2 lemons sliced
- 2 limes sliced
- 2 apples sliced
- 2 cups club soda
Instructions
- For a pitcher, combine all ingredients except club soda into a large pitcher. Refrigerate for one hour until fully chilled. Add club soda and serve in glasses over ice.
- For a glass, combine all ingredients except club soda into a Martini shaker with some ice. Shake for 20 seconds then pour into a glass and top with club soda.

I agree, this sounds like it would be very enjoyable and refreshing.
I make Sangria on a regular basis – my recipe 2 cups of lemonade is used instead of fruit juices and the grenadine – also – I freeze sliced oranges lemons limes and add them to the pitcher just before serving, this keeps the Sangria colder longer. For serving, I pour 2/3 glass full of Sangria and then top with club soda.
Freezing the fruit slices are a great idea!
