Onion Bagels

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup brown rice flour
  • 2/3 cup tapioca flour/starch
  • 1/3 cup cornstarch
  • 2 tsp xanthan gum
  • 1 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp minced onion flakes
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 2/3 cup milk or milk substitute
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/3 cup sparkling water

TOPPING

  • Sesame seeds
  • Poppyseeds

Instructions
 

  • Mix everything together EXCEPT the sparkling water.
  • Once everything is well mixed, then add sparkling water. Work quickly as it will puff up and is a little hard to stir if it sits.
  • Put into a greased bagel pan/donut pan and sprinkle with sesame and poppy seeds.
  • Bake at 400°F for 15 minutes or until nicely browned on top.
