Jalapeño Black Bean Dip
If you’re looking for a change of flavors to dip your chips in, then this might be just what you’re looking for. Fresh ingredients simmer together to create a creamy South of the border dip, with just a bit of spice.
In a saucepan combine all ingredients, except cilantro. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
Allow to cool slightly, then purée with cilantro in a food processor until smooth.

Jalapeño Black Bean Dip
Ingredients
- 1 15 oz can black beans rinsed and drained
- 1/2 cup onion diced
- 1/2 cup tomato diced
- 1/2 cup pickled jalapeño slices and 2 Tbsp liquid
- 2 Tbsp water
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/4 tsp chili powder
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 Tbsp lime juice
- 2 Tbsp fresh cilantro chopped
- Salt to taste
