Classic herb butter enhances the flavor of most any dish especially grilled fish or vegetables.
Ingredients
GARLIC AND CHIVE BUTTER
  • ½ cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp chives, finely chopped
PARMESAN AND PEPPER BUTTER
  • ½ cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 2 Tbsp Parmesan cheese, grated
  • ⅛ tsp ground black pepper
FRESH HERB BUTTER
  • ½ cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 tsp fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp parsley
Instructions
  1. Select which recipe you would like to make.
  2. Wash herbs very well and gently pat dry with paper towels.
  3. Combine the ingredients in a small bowl and stir until well mixed. Serve as is, or you can spread mixture on plastic wrap, shape into a log and refrigerate until firm.
Notes
Serve the flavored butters on; baked potatoes, broiled steak, tossed with hot pasta, or spread on your favorite bread.
