Chocolate-Covered Peanut Butter Squares

With only 4 ingredients, this is one of the easiest (and tastiest!) recipes to whip together.

Beat the egg, peanut butter and sugar together until creamy and press into an 8×8 pan. Use all natural peanut butter to cut back on the sugar content.

Once the crust is baked, immediately sprinkle over the chocolate chips. Let sit for a few minutes to soften, then spread out to a smooth finish.

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Beat together the egg, peanut butter and sugar and press into a greased 8x8” pan.
  • Bake at 325°F for 20 minutes. Remove and immediately sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly over the surface. After a few minutes, use a spatula to spread the melted chocolate into a smooth layer.
  • Allow to cool completely before cutting.

Notes

Use all-natural peanut butter to reduce the sugar content and sweetness of the squares.
