Pork Chops with Cherry Almond Sauce
- 8 pork chops
- 1 1/2 cup glace cherries
- 1/4 cup GF rice syrup
- 1/4 cup slivered almonds
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- Fry pork chops in skillet.
- Meanwhile, combine cherries, syrup, vinegar, salt, pepper and spices in a sauce pan. Bring to boil and boil for one minute.
- Add the almonds and pour a third of the sauce over the frying chops.
- Pour the remaining sauce over the chops when serving.
