Whether you ran out, or you’re not sure if the seasoning blend you have is gluten free, then make your own!
Homemade Chili Powder Seasoning
Ingredients
Version 1
- 1 Tbsp paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp cayenne or dried & ground red chilies
- 1/8 tsp salt
Version 2
- 10 whole dried red chilies
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp ground oregano
Instructions
- Version 1 - combine all ingredients and store in a sealed container.
- Version 2 - remove and discard seeds from whole dried chilies. Place peppers and remaining ingredients in a mini food processor or spice grinder and process until finely ground.
