Tahini Sauce

 

This thick sauce is the perfect dressing for wraps, or used as a dip for grilled chicken bits or veggies.

Mix together all ingredients until smooth. Adjust flavorings to taste.Tahini2

Ingredients
  • ½ cup tahini paste
  • Juice of 2 lemons
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ cup hot water
  • Salt to taste
Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients together in a blender or food processor and puree until smooth.
Notes
For a milder taste, use 3 cloves of baked garlic

    I cannot wait to try this. I am trying to eat raw vegetables and fruit only. But I really need more sauce recipes to bump up thr flavor. Thankyou

    What is tahini paste & where do I get it or make it?

      Tahini paste is ground sesame seeds. It can be found at most grocery stores in the Asian foods section.

    Its used in Middle Eastern dishes such as hummus. Can be found in the Greek food section of your grocery stoee

    You can also use 3 tbs of sour cream and mix it together.
    Also try to use cold water the taste is much better.
    If you want to use it as a dip you can add chopped parsley.
    Add minced parsley plus minced tomatoes for a perfect salad with baked white fish fillets.
