Beef Curry
Chunks of beef in a creamy curry sauce.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs beef stew meat chopped (or lamb)
- 1 Tbsp ginger sliced
- 6 cloves garlic sliced
- 2-4 tsp curry powder
- 1 tsp ground cloves
- 2 Tbsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 Tbsp chili pepper
- 1-2 onions chopped
- 3 potatoes chopped
- 1 tsp Five Spice powder
- 2 bay leaves
Instructions
- Put sliced ginger and garlic and chopped onion into wok and stir-fry it for 1 minute. Then add stew meat and fry for 5 minutes until it is almost done.
- Add all spices and seasonings and mix well. Add 1 cup of water and potatoes, then cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes, stirring often.
