Honey-Chipotle Pork Chops
With a touch of honey for sweetness, this spicy chipotle sauce is perfectly balanced. For best results, make this dish in a cast iron skillet.

Honey-Chipotle Pork Chops
Ingredients
- 4 pork chops
- Salt and pepper
- 2 tsp cumin
- 6 Tbsp butter or margarine cold (divided)
- 1 cup GF chicken stock
- 2-4 canned chipotle peppers in GF adobo sauce, finely chopped
- 2 Tbsp honey
- 2 tsp GF balsamic vinegar
- 3 Tbsp fresh cilantro garnish
Instructions
- Season chops with salt and pepper, and cumin, rubbing into meat.
- In a cast iron skillet heat 2 Tbsp butter, then fry chops on each side until done (160°F), set aside on a plate.
- In skillet bring to boil the stock, peppers, and honey, for about 4 minutes. Whisk in vinegar and remaining 4 tbsp butter until sauce is thickened.
- Pour over chops and garnish with cilantro.
