Roasted nuts with a spicy cinnamon coating.
- 3 cups mixed nuts
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg white
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp allspice
- 1/2 tsp ginger
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Beat egg white until smooth and frothy. Add nuts and stir well.
- Stir 1/2 cup of sugar and all the spices in with the nuts and toss until they are well covered.
- Roast the nuts on a greased cookie sheet at 300°F for about 20 minutes (make sure to stir 2 to 3 times during baking).
- Once cooled, store in an airtight container.
