Deconstructed Mimosa
Equal parts orange juice and sparking wine (or whatever ratio you like!), mimosas are a refreshing drink to enjoy for brunch, or as an after dinner cocktail. In our version we made it a bit more fun by freezing the orange juice first. This allows the drink to stay icy cold, while the juice slowly melts in the champagne – creating a slightly different taste with each sip.
Freeze orange juice in silicone ring molds, or whatever shape you like – just make sure that they will be able to fit into the glasses you’re going to use. Pop them out just before you’re ready to serve, and place in each glass. Top up with the sparkling wine of your choice (or even club soda if you like!).
