Mash the flesh of the avocado with the salt and lemon juice.
Place the cottage cheese on the bottom layer in an oven-proof ramekin. Cover the cottage cheese with the avocado. Place the grated cheddar cheese on top.
Broil in oven until the cheddar cheese has melted and dip is warm throughout, serve hot.
Serve with corn chips, rice crackers, or baguette slices.
