Beat together the egg, peanut butter and sugar and press into a greased 8x8” pan.
Bake at 325°F for 20 minutes. Remove and immediately sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly over the surface. After a few minutes, use a spatula to spread the melted chocolate into a smooth layer.
Allow to cool completely before cutting.
Notes
Use all-natural peanut butter to reduce the sugar content and sweetness of the squares.
