In a large measuring cup add hemp hearts and water, let sit for 30 minutes to soften.
Pour entire mixture as well as remaining ingredients into blender and puree until smooth, about 3-5 minutes.
Place the measuring up under a strainer that is lined with a few layers of cheesecloth and pour mixture in. Once everything has been pour through it, fold up the edges of the cheesecloth and squeeze out as much milk as you can by twisting. Discard/compost solids.
Place in a sealed container and refrigerate up to 3 days, shake before using.

*Omit the honey and vanilla for an unsweetened version.
