Garlic & Cheese Biscuits

Ingredients
  

Topping

  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine melted
  • 1/4 tsp garlic salt or garlic powder
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions
 

  • Combine flour and garlic salt, then cut in butter with fork or pastry cutter. Once the mixture looks like coarse crumbs, add the cheese and toss until fully coated.
  • Mix in the eggs, then just enough milk until a thick dough forms.
  • Shape or drop spoonfuls of dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet, and bake at 425°F for 8-15 minutes (depending on size of biscuit), or until tops and bottom are golden. Break one open to be sure its cooked throughout.
  • For the topping, combine everything together and set aside.
  • As soon as biscuits are removed form the oven, use a pastry brush and coat the tops of each with the butter mixture. Serve hot out of the oven.
