Mulled Wine

Warm spiced red wine is perfect anytime of the year.

- 26 oz red wine port, claret, or your favorite
- 1 cup brandy
- 12 oz GF beer
- 1 orange thinly sliced (rind on)
- 1 slice lemon rind on
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- 1 Tbsp whole cloves
- 1 cup raisins
- 1/3 cup slivered almonds
Add the alcohol and the citrus slices into a large pot.
Combine the remaining ingredients into a spice bag (cut a square of cheesecloth and tie corners together to seal bag), and place into pot.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours. Remove citrus and spice bag before serving hot.
