Pecan Rice Pilaf

This is a quick and easy meal if you have leftover rice in the fridge.

- 2 cups rice
- 2 tsp thyme
- 1 Tbsp GF vegetable bouillon
- 1 tsp sage
- 1 cup margarine or butter
- 1 cup onion chopped
- 1 cup celery chopped
- 1 cup fresh parsley minced
- 1 tsp celery seeds
- 1/2 tsp cloves ground
- 1 /2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 2 cups pecans chopped
Cook rice according to directions, adding the thyme and bouillon to the water.
Melt butter in a pan and sauté the parsley, onion and celery until soft.
Mix in the rice, and the remaining seasonings and pecans. Stir until heated throughout.
