Meatballs with Sesame Seeds

Sesame Meatballs

Rolling the meatballs in a coating of sesame seeds gives a nice nutty crunch.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup sesame seeds
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp GF tomato sauce
  • 1 Tbsp GF soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp GF sake or dry sherry

Instructions
 

  • Shape meat into 20 meatballs, then roll in sesame seeds, thoroughly coated entire meatball, and place on a baking sheet.
  • Spray meatballs with a light mist of cooking oil and bake at 375°F for 30 minutes.
  • Next prepare the sauce by combing the remaining ingredients in a bowl, and mix well. Pour into a large fry pan and add in cooked meatballs. Toss to ensure all are evenly coated, and let simmer until you are ready to serve.
