Peppermint Vodka

Sure to become your signature drink for the holiday season. Substitute the peppermint flavored vodka into any of your favorite cocktails, or try it in eggnog for a delicious holiday drink!

Ingredients
  

  • 12 large red & white only candy canes
  • 1 750ml bottle vodka

Instructions
 

  • Using a food processor, grind the candy canes into a fine powder.
  • Pour vodka and powder into a large bowl, and let sit for about 45 minutes or until candy is dissolved.
  • Pour candy cane infused vodka back into its bottle using a funnel (if there is still some undissolved candy, put a bit of cheesecloth in the funnel to strain out the bits).

Notes

Martini Recipe: 1 1/2 oz infused vodka, 3/4 oz dry vermouth
Shake vodka and vermouth together with several ice cubes in a shaker, then strain into a cocktail glass.
Peppermint Fizz: 2 oz infused vodka, 6 oz club soda or 7-Up
