Spicy Edamame Beans

Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz bag frozen unshelled edamame
  • 1-2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tsp fresh ginger minced
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 Tbsp Sriracha sauce or other GF hot chili sauce
  • 1 Tbsp honey or agave
  • 2 Tbsp GF soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp water

Instructions
 

  • Prepare beans according to package directions.
  • Heat a skillet and sauté garlic in oil for about 30 seconds.
  • In a small dish, whisk together remaining ingredients, then add to skillet. Stir until thickened.
  • Drain beans, and then add to skillet, tossing to coat.
  • Garnish with red pepper flakes if desired.
