Vanilla Sugar

Use in place of granulated or powdered sugar when you want to intensify the vanilla flavor

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups granulated or powdered sugar
  • 4-8 vanilla beans split

Instructions
 

  • Place dried split beans into a container with the sugar. Cover and shake every few days to distribute the vanilla beans.
  • Allow 2 weeks for the beans to fully permeate the sugar before using. No need to discard the seeds, just keep them in there indefinitely.
