Brown Sugar Fudge

- 1 lb brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup cream
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup nuts chopped
Using a large heavy pan, bring the sugar, salt and cream to a boil. Stir constantly with a wooden spoon, until a sugar thermometer reaches 240°F/115°C.
Remove from heat and stir in the butter a little at a time, then add nuts. Keep stirring until it reaches a thick consistency.
Pour the mixture into a greased 8x8" baking pan to cool.
