Spooky Spider Web Soup

All it takes is some imagination to turn any soup into a Halloween inspired dish! Try this technique on your favorite thick soup or chowder, or on our Curried Zucchini Bisque.


Place some sour cream, cashew cream, or full fat canned coconut milk into a pastry bag or into a ziploc bag (with the tip snipped). Over a thick soup, chowder or bisque, start in the center of the soup and slowly create a spiral outward.


Use the tip of a knife or a chopstick and pull out from the center toward the edges, evenly spaced about 5 or 6 times. Then go back and between each of those ‘V’s you  just created, start at the outer edge and pull the chopstick back towards the center.
