Spicy Candy Coated Almonds

Toasted almonds with a spicy sizzle candy coating.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups whole almonds
  • 2 Tbsp oil
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp chilli powder
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 garlic powder

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, mix cumin, chilli powder, garlic powder, salt and sugar. Set aside.
  • In another bowl, stir almonds with oil until they're completely covered. Then pour them into the spice mixture and toss until they are completed coated.
  • Place on a baking sheet and bake at 325°F for about 20 minutes (stirring about every 5 minutes).
  • Let this sit until it's cooled off. Then, store it in an airtight container until you're ready to serve it.
