Toasted almonds with a spicy sizzle candy coating.
Spicy Candy Coated Almonds
- 4 cups whole almonds
- 2 Tbsp oil
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp chilli powder
- 2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 garlic powder
- In a bowl, mix cumin, chilli powder, garlic powder, salt and sugar. Set aside.
- In another bowl, stir almonds with oil until they're completely covered. Then pour them into the spice mixture and toss until they are completed coated.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake at 325°F for about 20 minutes (stirring about every 5 minutes).
- Let this sit until it's cooled off. Then, store it in an airtight container until you're ready to serve it.
