Here is an easy to make coating for chicken, with tasty ingredients you are sure to have on hand.

Remember, simple doesn’t have to be flavorless!

Ingredients

• 1 Tbsp sesame seeds toasted
• 1 Tbsp lemon zest
• 2 tsp thyme
• 3/4 tsp sugar
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/2 tsp pepper
• 2 chicken breasts

Instructions

 

• Using a spice grinder or mortar and pestle, combine the spice rub ingredients until the sesame seeds are slightly cracked.
• Rub mixture into both sides of chicken breasts, spray with a bit of cooking oil and grill until fully cooked.
