  • 1/4 oz lime juice
  • 1/4 oz lemon juice
  • 1 tsp grenadine
  • 1 oz club soda

  • 2-4 Tbsp grenadine to taste
  • 2 oranges sliced
  • 2 lemons sliced
  • 2 limes sliced
  • 2 apples sliced
  • 2 cups club soda

Instructions

  • For a pitcher, combine all ingredients except club soda into a large pitcher. Refrigerate for one hour until fully chilled. Add club soda and serve in glasses over ice.
  • For a glass, combine all ingredients except club soda into a Martini shaker with some ice. Shake for 20 seconds then pour into a glass and top with club soda.

Notes

For a quick version try red wine and cranberry juice/cocktail at a 1:1 ratio, then add a splash of club soda. Add some sliced fresh fruit if desired.

I make Sangria on a regular basis – my recipe 2 cups of lemonade is used instead of fruit juices and the grenadine – also – I freeze sliced oranges lemons limes and add them to the pitcher just before serving, this keeps the Sangria colder longer. For serving, I pour 2/3 glass full of Sangria and then top with club soda.
