Orange Julius-Style Drink

Just like you’d get at the Orange Julius franchise, but without ever having to leave your house! This iconic drink is filled with sweet orange flavor and a hint of vanilla.

This recipe couldn’t be simpler, just combine everything together in a blender! My blender does a terrible job of crushing ice, so if you have access to crushed ice (from a fridge dispenser), use that instead – it works like a dream.

  2. Rogers brand or whatever Walmart carries. I don’t really find a difference in the taste and texture of powdered/icing sugars, so any one will do.

About how much crushed ice would work well? Like everyone else, I want to give these a whirl. I wonder if they would freeze well enough for popsicles? I wouldn’t add the sugar to those. Hmmmmm.

  4. Start with 1/4 cup crushed ice and add more as necessary until you get the consistency you like. I could say 6 ice cubes= 1/2 cup crushed ice, but since everyone’s ice cubes vary in size, it’s somewhat of a guessing game to get an equivalent. Hope you like it!
