Chocolate & Hazelnut Eggnog

How can you make eggnog any more traditional? By serving it with the other sweet flavors of the season – chocolate and hazelnuts!

You can use store bought eggnog, or mix up a batch of our Classic Eggnog (recipe link is below). Because the chocolate-hazelnut spread is so thick, it’s best to blend everything together using a blender or an immersion blender. Once blended, taste it and adjust it to taste with more of the cocoa or spread. ChocHazelnutEggNog2

For an fancy touch, rim the glass with some finely ground hazelnuts. In one dish have a bit of water to dip the glass rim in. Once its wet, dip it into the dish with the ground nuts. Fill the glass with some ice, some eggnog, and top with some grated chocolate if desired – it’s Christmas after all, so you can indulge just a little! ChocHazelnutEggNog3
