Candied Pecans
These sweet and crunchy nuts are perfect for snacking, or add them to your favorite salad or on top of a big scoop of ice cream!
Lightly whisk egg white and sugar until is mostly dissolved, then stir in pecans until fully coated.
Spread nuts out onto a parchment or silicone lined baking sheet, into a single layer. Separate nuts so they are not touching and bake for 30 minutes. Allow to cool completely before using.

Candied Pecans
Ingredients
- 1 egg white
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups whole pecans
Instructions
- Using a whisk, beat together the egg white and brown sugar until frothy.
- Add the pecans and gently stir until the nuts are completely coated.
- Transfer to a silicone or parchment lined baking sheet, spreading out to an even layer so they are not touching.
- Bake at 300°F for 30 minutes. Allow to cool completely before using.
Can I use xylitol or erythritol instead of sugar?
I haven’t tried it personally for this recipe, however what I’ve read about erythritol indicates that it should work just fine. Please let us know how it turns out!
