Strawberry/Banana Smoothie

Strawberry/Banana Smoothie

A refreshing smoothie recipe for you.

Ingredients:
1/2-3/4 c. almonds
1 banana - peeled of course
3/4 cup sugar or whatever measure of whatever sweetener you like
2 cups frozen strawberries (approximately)
1-2 cups water

Directions:
Put all the ingredients in a blender and turn onto low until the nuts grind up.  Then add frozen strawberries about 3/4 of the way up the blender.  Pour in water until it's covered.  Blend on high until smooth adding water as you go for consitancy you like.

This smoothie is extremely energizing! I have even sneaked in a small carrot for my non-carrot eater and she did not notice a difference in the taste.
